Over 100 kinds of doughnut. Daily.

Made by hand, fresh every day, and lightly sweetened with honey. Not store-bought, not a chain, and, according to a few thousand strangers on Google, worth the line.

Glenwood had a doughnut drought.

Aaron and Anne fixed it.

The very rough numbers

The plan
500 doughnuts a day, part-time
A typical Saturday now
About 6,000
Free, before opening
Nearly 30,000

After years in Denver, Aaron and Anne slowed life down to enjoy their daughter, Lilli, in Glenwood Springs. They loved the town. They could not find a good doughnut, or a great deli sandwich, anywhere in it.

So they opened a shop that makes both, with their own recipe. No chain-store doughnuts here: hand-made fresh every day and lightly sweetened with honey. The plan was part-time and modest. Opening month sold and gave away tens of thousands.

Before the first door opened, they handed out nearly 30,000 doughnuts for free. One box went through the door of a RFTA bus, and the woman who caught it is still a regular 13 years later.

Aaron calls it the smile factor: make one person's day better and maybe they pass it on. It is also why the answer to "how hungry are you?" is the first thing we ask.

More than doughnuts: a full-service restaurant, a deli, loose-leaf teas, some of the finest coffee in the valley, and catering for any occasion. Family owned and operated. Made fresh daily.

The Drinkery

Top-shelf tequila, wine and mixed drinks at our Glenwood Springs shops. Put a Baileys in your coffee. Pair a mimosa with a flaky 11-layer croughnut. Nobody here will stop you.

Breakfast-approved cocktails

  • Mimosa

Champagne and chilled orange juice. You can't drink all day if you don't start in the morning.

  • White Russian

A bold spin on your morning iced coffee: vodka, coffee liqueur and cream over ice.

  • Bloody Mary

Vodka, tomato juice, and other spices and flavorings. Served chilled.

  • Irish Coffee

Rich, creamy and indulgent. Our signature fresh-brewed coffee and Bailey's Irish Cream, hot or chilled.

  • Screwdriver

Refreshing citrus juice with a splash (or two) of vodka. Served chilled.
